In summer

You can go on a myriad of trips directly from the Bílá Růže Residence, whether to the nearby Kašperk Castle, which guarded the Golden Trail in the past, the wild Vydra River, the lookout towers in the vicinity, the mysterious Amálino Valley, to see the wolves in the enclosure in Srní, or further out to the Modrava moors. Both on foot or by bike, the destinations are endless and there will always be more to discover.

In winter

The Kašperské Hory ski resort with 2 lifts and evening hours is just beyond your windows. Seven additional ski slopes can be found in nearby Zadov and Churáňov, where there are also 50 km of maintained cross-country trails and the popular Šumava Trail. Experienced skiers looking for more adventurous slopes will appreciate the proximity to the popular German Great Maple and Austrian Hochficht ski resorts, which are about a two hours’ drive from the Bílá Růže Residence.

To please the soul

Theater and film performances, concerts, markets, fairs. Kašperské Hory thrums with a rich cultural and social life, so you won’t miss the big city at all. After a full day of outdoor activities, you can catch a show in the Kašperk Castle courtyard, an organ concert in St. Nicholas Church, or a fun movie at the open-air cinema.

For foodies

A bakery and stylish cafe with a select coffee roastery will occupy the ground floor of the Bílá Růže Residence, but this is only a fraction of the vibrant local foodie scene. A family-owned brewery with famous beer is located right on the town square in Kašperské Hory and several other establishments in town have held stable positions on gourmet guide maps.
